We mostly have in common an interest in Small and Micro Hydro, I suspect there are some Mini Hydro folks mixed in as well. For now we will focus on the needs of the Small and Micro Hydroelectric community and see where we grow from there.

You can see there are a few among us that have serious experience as Hydropower generator owners and as Small & Micro Hydropower professionals. This is a great thing for all of us, we will be looking forward to more Small & Micro Hydropower community interaction as we expand the site to include some social interaction features. My personal and professional experience with Small Hydropower has been enhanced greatly by the assistance of those with diverse experience in Hydro Electric Power system design and development.

We will also be seeking those with valuable environmental insight to share as well. This is a vital component of any good Small or Micro hydro design. All systems have trade offs and risks to mitigate. Good planning incorporates these factors regardless of size.
